Function:
As a CAD Designer specializing in Plastic Kiosks, you will be at the forefront of creating innovative and durable kiosk solutions. Your role involves creating 3D CAD models and detailed technical drawings for the design and assembly of plastic kiosks. You’ll be responsible for designing interlocking parts that ensure ease of assembly while maintaining structural integrity. Additionally, you will produce detailed specifications for plastic injection molding and plastic forming processes, ensuring that the parts are manufacturable and meet production standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing multiple plastic parts for kiosks using CAD software, ensuring that all components fit together seamlessly.
- Producing precise technical drawings and documentation, including dimensions, tolerances, and specifications for manufacturing.
- Iterating designs based on feedback related to manufacturability and structural integrity.
Profile:
We are looking for a skilled CAD Designer with a strong background in 3D CAD modeling and a deep understanding of plastic molding processes. You should have experience in designing for manufacturability, with an eye for detail and a commitment to creating high-quality technical drawings.
Your qualifications:
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar tools.
- A thorough understanding of plastic molding processes, including injection molding and plastic forming.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to create precise and accurate technical drawings.
- Strong visualization and design thinking skills.
